Job Description

Purchasing specialist will be responsible for receiving and facilitating company's purchasing ordersand processing the same to company's suppliers. Also, he is responsible forfacilitating the payment process for suppliers and preparing periodical reportsof all purchasing activities and submits to his supervisor.ResponsibilitiesReceives customer's purchasing order (PO) and coordinatesto issues the same to the supplier.Reviews, analyses and processes requisitions and purchasesorders to suppliers.Analyzes quotations presented by suppliers and ensures theoptimum quotation that coincides with the customer's purchasing order.Receives the purchased items from the suppliers and ensuresthat items being received are identical to items being requested.Receives shipping documents from company's suppliers.Facilitates and follows up the payment process forsuppliers in coordination with accounting department.Receives and checks supplier invoices and send same tocustomers.Receives customer's discrepancy reports and arranges tosolve same with suppliers.Keeps customer's contacts and resolves customer complaintsregarding services.Develops and maintains good relationship with the company'ssuppliers and establishes and maintain their address records in the system.Performsany other related functions as directed.Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, supply chain management or a similar field is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
