The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement, supply chain, and contract management activities for our offshore operations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies for the offshore operations in line with the company's overall objectivesIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts and terms of agreementsManage the sourcing and procurement process, including tendering, bid evaluation, and supplier selectionMonitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and servicesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide support and guidance on procurement processesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective servicesConduct regular market research and stay updated on industry trends and best practicesEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulationsMonitor and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiencyProvide training and support to junior team members and ensure their development and growth within the organizationQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in an offshore environmentStrong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship managementExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and procurement softwareKnowledge of UAE procurement laws and regulations is an added advantageProfessional certification in procurement (e.g. CIPS) is preferredWe Offer:Competitive salary packageOpportunities for career growth and developmentDynamic and multicultural work environmentIf you are a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, we would love to hear from you.
