OverviewOur Client UAE business 40+ Years delivering Hotels, High Rise, Commercial, Residential & Mixed Use. Sweet spot is 400 Million AED to 2 Billion on Full Design & Build Projects. They have delivered projects to date across 6 of the 7 emirates in the UAE.As the Lead Planning Manager (No1) working alongside the Project Director you will have an immediate line into the Corporate Head of Planning. You will be experienced enough to add value at pre-construction and execution stages on site. Managing program, implementing change management and working with all parties to ensure that issues are raised early and handled in the right manner.Project Planning Manager sat on a Major award worth just over 1 Billion AED. This was negotiated due to past project success and client relations. The client (TIER 1 Main Contractor) needs a strong Planning Manager to head up this project working closely with a sharp & driven Egyptian Project Director.As the Project Planning Manager based in Abu Dhabi you will know the local rules, regulations, handover processes and the local supply chain. You will be able to add value from the off so to speak.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring project program and schedule for short term and longTrack the project’s performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)Review and discuss reports with the Project TeamReview and endorse proposed corrective actions to maintain the project within planned cost and scheduleMonitor and manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunitiesCommunicationPersonable enough to knock on a door of a clientPresentation skills to stakeholders and managementSoft skills and empathy to manage up and downstreamAble to lead a small team in a hands on mannerCriteriaSenior Planner or Planning Mgr experience on site for the past 5+ years with a reputable buildings main contractor in the UAEStrong analytical skills and a calmnessPrimavera P6 software experience and project management toolsBI presentation experienceSalary: AED 45,000 to 49,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.Additional benefits: Flights, Medical & BonusIf you feel you can add value in this role please share a WORD formatted CV to .
