Project Manager

STRUCTURAL is the open‑shop contracting business line of Structural Group.STRUCTURAL has been established in the UAE since 2008 and has offices and operations in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to be based in our Dubai office. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex construction projects that make the structures of the UAE and GCC stronger and last longer.ResponsibilitiesManaging self‑performed complex repair and restoration projectsPreparing contracts and negotiating revisions while working with internal contracts teams as neededDeveloping and managing schedules in collaboration with field leadershipMaintaining profit and loss responsibility as well as other project financials, including projections, etc.Providing strong leadership, mentorship and supervision to Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers and subcontractorsWorking closely with in‑house estimators and sales teams to assist in reviewing bids and developing proposalsEvaluating risk and loss exposure on projects managedDeveloping and maintaining strong customer relationshipsDemonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projectsQualificationsExcellent written and verbal English communication and technical writingBachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, construction management or related field of study3+ years of relevant experience within the commercial construction and/or restoration industryAbility to speak and write in Arabic preferredDemonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projectsPrevious experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair and/or historic restorationProven knowledge of computer‑based programs including Microsoft Office, project management and forecasting toolsStrong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor othersAbility to work effectively with a teamCapable of managing multiple projects and ensuring successful and on‑time deliveryJob location is in the UAE with flexibility to travel within the GCCOur ideal candidate is an innovative but decisive individual who can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team‑based environment; has the ability to set goals and expectations and hold others accountable; can encourage and mentor others; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.STRUCTURAL is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
