We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager - IT is responsible for providing appropriate support to the IT Manager for the successful planning, execution, and completion of client IT projects. The Project Manager – IT will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to implement project success and ensure operational excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:Support the client in executing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Supervise and coordinate IT project stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.Conduct regular project status meetings, track progress, and report updates to senior management and stakeholders.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.Foster strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring smooth project delivery and post-implementation support.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and status reports.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, or related3-6 years of experience relevantStrong operational skills, including planning and Delivery.Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to analyse technical requirements and translate them into operational plans.Strong problem-solving skills.Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.Additional InformationSecurity clearanceThis role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
