Job Description

A leading oil & gas contracting EPC consultant seeks to hire a project manager for its Abu Dhabi division. The successful candidate must possess expertise in the key result areas outlined below and be willing to work in Abu Dhabi emirate.Key Result AreasMinimum of 5 years experience in procurement, with experience in defense projects.Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.Relevant project management experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.Promoting efficiency and best practices in project management and establishing effective communication methods with stakeholders regarding operational progress.Planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating projects to meet time, budget, and quality standards.Managing projects from initiation to delivery.Creating detailed and comprehensive project work plans.Breaking down responsibilities and assigning tasks.Tracking project milestones and reporting progress to management.Coordinating outputs across operations, finance, and logistics departments.Developing tools, methods, and practices for project management and execution.Identifying available and required resources for project execution.Drafting project progress reports.Properly filing all project data during and after project closing for reporting and auditing.Evaluating suppliers and administering contracts.Managing supplier relationships and ensuring effective communication.Identifying and mitigating risks, and informing team members of project status.Motivating the team and ensuring accountability.Coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget, and within scope.Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring project progress.Following up proactively to ensure task completion within specified durations.Maintaining scope consistency throughout project development.Preparing reports for upper management on project status.Working directly with clients to ensure deliverables align with scope and budget.Coordinating with other departments to ensure project compatibility.Developing detailed project plans to track progress.Reporting and escalating issues to management as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
