Project Manager-Commercial Units

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead the design-to-delivery of fit-out projects for izil’s new stores and spas. With rapid expansion planned over the next five years, this role is crucial in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution. The ideal candidate brings expertise in MEP systems, architectural design, and strong experience managing mall approvals.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionOversee fit-out projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Manage design coordination with architects, interior designers, and consultants to align with brand requirements.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality execution.Monitor performance and resolve issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.Design & Technical ExpertiseReview and validate architectural and MEP drawings for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with regulations.Provide technical input on materials and finishes to optimize aesthetics, functionality, and costs.Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards.Approvals & Mall RelationsManage relationships with mall management for drawing reviews, permits, and project approvals.Ensure all designs and processes comply with mall and regulatory requirements.Budgeting & ReportingDevelop, manage, and track project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management.Collaboration and CoordinationWork closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and incorporate them into project designs.Act as the primary liaison between the company, contractors, mall management, and regulatory authorities.Ensure alignment of all project activities with the company’s strategic goals and brand vision.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.5+ years of experience in project management with a focus on fit-out projects, preferably in retail, beauty, or hospitality sectors.Strong knowledge of MEP systems, architectural designs, and construction processes.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.Expertise in managing approvals and relationships with mall management teams in the GCC region.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).Deep understanding of UAE/GCC construction regulations and standards.Key SkillsProject Management Expertise: Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with precision and efficiency.Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MEP systems, architectural design, and construction techniques.Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and decision-making to address challenges and ensure smooth project delivery.Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship-building skills for managing contractors, suppliers, and mall management.Budget Management: Proven ability to plan, track, and optimize project costs effectively.Attention to Detail: High standards in reviewing drawings, materials, and on-site execution.Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication for all project stakeholders.Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust plans and processes in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
