Project Director - Pre Contract

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Project Director to join our Project Management team in Dubai & Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a key leadership role within our organization you will be responsible for overseeing and directing all pre-contract activities for large-scale projects in the construction and engineering sectors.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the pre-contract phase of complex projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectationsDevelop and implement strategic project plans including risk assessment budgeting and resource allocationNegotiate and review contracts with clients subcontractors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare comprehensive project proposals and bid documentsConduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project challengesOversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates and financial projections for projectsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners and regulatory bodiesEnsure compliance with local and international regulations as well as industry best practicesMentor and develop team members to build a high-performing pre-contract departmentStay updated on industry trends and innovations to continuously improve pre-contract processes and outcomesQualifications :Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years of experience in project management with a focus on pre-contract activitiesProven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects in the UAE construction or engineering sectorIn-depth knowledge of contract negotiation risk assessment and budgeting processesStrong understanding of UAE construction industry regulations and international contract lawProficiency in FIDIC contract forms and other relevant contract structuresExcellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staffAdvanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholdersExperience in vertical projects is requiredAdditional Information :About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
