Job DescriptionThe Project Commercial Manager will be responsible for the overall commercial and contractual management of the project, while also overseeing key project controls functions, including cost control, schedule performance, and change management. The role ensures the projects commercial position is protected and that time, cost, and contractual impacts are fully integrated to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesCommercial & Contracts ManagementLead administration of the Project contractsManage contractual compliance, notices, and correspondenceReview, assess, and negotiate variations, claims, and final accountsManage project commercial risks and financial exposureLead the QS team in quantity take-off, measurement, and pricing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Planning & Schedule ManagementEstablish project planning strategy, standards, and control proceduresOversee development and approval of master and detailed schedulesReview and approve baseline programs and updatesLead Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and EOT assessmentsManage schedule risks and recovery strategiesCost ManagementEstablish a cost control framework and governanceApprove budgets, cost baselines, forecasts, and cash flowsMonitor cost performance and earned value metricsReview contractor payments, variations, and final accountsAdvise on financial risks and corrective actionsRisk, Change & PerformanceLead risk and change management processesMaintain risk registers and mitigation strategiesAssess impacts of scope changes on time and costReporting & Client InterfaceApprove integrated planning, cost, and commercial reportsPresent performance dashboards to the Client and stakeholdersAct as primary interface on project controls mattersCompetenciesSpecific qualities that are desirable for employees to possess. Competencies specific to the role and competencies specific to the culture and working environment of Stantec ME.QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering from an accredited universityMinimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in project controlsMRICS, PMP, RMP, SP or PSPProven experience working in a PMC / Consultant environmentStrong experience delivering projects in the UAE or GCC.Familiar With Primavera P6.In-depth knowledge of Commercial and Project Controls Roles.Experience in claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT) assessmentFluency in English and a high degree of numeracy and literacy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
