Professor in Adult Critical Care Nursing

Qualifications and Experience:A doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD in Adult Critical Care Nursing) from a well-reputed university.Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Adult Critical Care Nursing.Demonstrated clinical expertise in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).Record of or potential for scholarly contributions, including publications, research funding, and presentations.Graduate of accredited universities that use the credit hour system and where English is the medium of instruction.A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.Good experience in supervising student projects, theses, and dissertations.Advanced use of technology in the education process, including delivering classes via presentations, using e-learning systems, and generating reports.Preference will be given to candidates with strong research output and some industry experience in the area.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Course Development and Delivery:Develop and deliver courses to students in specified discipline areas of study, ensuring alignment with the three fundamental standards of the University: Teaching, Research, and Services.Student Progress Evaluation:Evaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to sustain student success.Research and Resource Management:Organize and manage instructional resources, course outlines, and community networks.Course Improvement:Actively seek out methods, procedures, and resources to best achieve course objectives.Accreditation Support:Support and participate in accreditation initiatives.Miscellaneous Responsibilities:Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Skills Required:Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Ability to develop and deliver presentations.Ability to work effectively in a team within a diverse community.Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.Program planning and implementation skills.Knowledge of computerized student information systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
