Job Description

Procurement SpecialistOverview:A growing organization operating in the equipment rental and services sector, supporting large-scale projects across the UAE. The company works with a wide network of local and international suppliers and is currently strengthening its internal operations to support ongoing expansion and efficiency.This role has been introduced as part of the company's efforts to formalize and improve procurement processes, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.Position Summary:The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities across multiple categories, including equipment, services, and logistics. The role focuses on supplier coordination, purchase execution, cost control, and ensuring continuity of supply to support operations.This is a hands-on role, suited for someone who is operationally strong, commercially aware, and comfortable working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Procurement OperationsHandle end-to-end procurement activities in line with company policies and budgetsSource materials, services, and equipment to meet operational requirementsPrepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documentationEnsure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issuesSupplier ManagementLiaise with existing suppliers and support the identification of alternative vendors when requiredRequest, evaluate, and compare quotations to ensure cost efficiencySupport negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedulesMaintain accurate supplier records and procurement documentationCost Control & CoordinationMonitor procurement spend and support cost optimization initiativesCoordinate closely with operations, finance, and logistics teamsSupport inventory planning and operational demand requirementsReporting & ComplianceMaintain accurate procurement records for reporting and audit purposesEnsure compliance with internal procedures and ethical sourcing standardsRequirements:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related fieldExperience in procurement within equipment rental, industrial, or service-based environmentsExposure to UAE supplier markets and sourcing practicesExperience handling multiple procurement categories is an advantageStrong negotiation and communication skillsGood commercial awareness and cost-conscious mindsetAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in ERP or procurement systems (Zoho or similar is a plus)#J-18808-Ljbffr
