Procurement Officer

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will manage sourcing and category strategies, negotiate contracts, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure efficient purchase order processing to support organizational objectives.Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement plans and strategies for goods and servicesConduct sourcing and category management activities, including market analysis and supplier evaluationNegotiate and finalize contract terms and agreements with vendors to secure favorable conditionsManage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and resolve disputesProcess purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and ensure timely receipt of goodsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and coordinate procurement activitiesMaintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on procurement activitiesEnsure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain rolesProven experience in contract negotiation and vendor managementStrong knowledge of purchase order processing and sourcing & category managementExcellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilitiesProficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suiteAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentPreferred Qualifications:Professional certification such as CIPS, CPP, or equivalentExperience working in the UAE or GCC regionFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)Knowledge of local procurement laws and regulations in Abu DhabiAdvanced skills in data analysis and reporting#J-18808-Ljbffr
