This role serves as a key liaison between suppliers, procurement, logistics, and internal stakeholders to track orders, resolve delays, and maintain smooth material flow. The position provides an excellent opportunity to develop critical supply chain expertise and contribute to strengthening the UAE’s growing industrial and defence capabilities.Key AccountabilitiesFollow up with suppliers to confirm order status, production progress, and shipment schedulesExpedite delayed or at‑risk orders to meet project or operational timelinesCommunicate delivery updates, delays, and risks to procurement, planning, and project teamsVerify supplier compliance with contract terms, specifications, and delivery requirementsCoordinate with logistics, warehousing, and quality teams on shipping, inspections, and documentationMaintain accurate order status records in ERP or procurement systemsResolve issues related to shortages, late deliveries, damaged goods, or incorrect shipmentsSupport supplier performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiativesPrepare expediting reports, KPIs, and status updates for managementProblem‑solving and negotiation skillsData analysis and reportingProactive and results‑oriented mindsetEducational and Experience RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field2–5 years of experience in procurement, expediting, supply chain, or materials managementStrong understanding of procurement processes and supplier managementProficiency in ERP systems (preferable SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft ExcelExperience in manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, or engineering projectsKnowledge of international shipping and IncotermsFamiliarity with quality inspections and documentation requirementsProfessional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
