Responsibilities / TasksAccuracy of designs / costingsAccuracy of scopeManagement of scope gapsDelivery of proposals on agreed timesDealing with multiple proposalsDesign Recycle / Fast turnaround.Achievement of contractual performanceScope change & gap management.Delivery of designs on agreed timesDealing with multiple proposals (and/or) contractsRight-at-First CommissioningSupport and deliver client facing presentations / design-cost justification.Manage suppliers and contractors.Service Budget Set for Middle East RegionYour Profile / QualificationsProcess/Project Engineer (Pre-Sales & Execution) will report to the Director of Service and will be responsible for the production of designs technical and commercial proposals and support of project execution (detailed designs through commissioning). He/She will also run complete small projects under supervision or jointly with senior engineers centre of competencies and/or project manager.Key duties Pre SalesLiaise with sales and senior engineering team to translate the client requirements into technical solutionsProcess equipment and piping sizingDevelopment of enquiry stage P&IDsDevelopment of key assumptions execution plan and scope boundariesCosting of equipment/components supplyReview with multiple functions enquiry documents and obtain clarifications where required.Support multiple functions to prepare their respective scope and costings.Consolidate costs and prepare an overall cost calculationConsolidate plans and develop an overall execution plan and timelinePrepare Technical and Commercial Proposals in accordance with defined scopes of supplyMaintain Proposal documentation in line with company procedures and policies to ensure compliance with set requirements & standards.Reporting on day to day basis to LPT Service DirectorKey duties ExecutionSupport project managers and senior engineers with project activitiesSupport the project manager with change control and scope variationsLiaise with Senior Engineers to produce designs for P&IDs Equipment Lists Datasheets Process and Functional Descriptions.Produce requests for quotations for our sub-suppliers review and obtain clarifications where required.Perform suppliers bid analysis and recommend vendors to the project manager/supply chain manager.Review design documents with senior engineers where required.Take part of commissioning product and cleaning tests and initial production support.Maintain Project documentation in line with company procedures and policies to ensure compliance with design and QHSE standards.Seek support and clarification from project managers and senior engineers whenever he/she fells unsure.This position will require extensive travelling mainly in Middle East but may occasionally be required to outside of this region worldwide.Did we spark your interestThen please click apply above to access our guided application process.#J-18808-Ljbffr
