This role requires deep expertise in server systems, data center infrastructure, large‑scale hardware design, and cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, supply chain, and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate will act as a technical authority and design leader, influencing platform architecture, driving process improvements, and ensuring scalable, reliable system deployments.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Design & EngineeringDesign and deploy enterprise‑class server and networking solutions for large‑scale Bare Metal and Cloud platformsCreate detailed configuration and design documentation used for procurement, manufacturing, and deployment of servers, racks, and rows at scaleProvide technical guidance to system integrators and manufacturing partners during factory builds and validationsEvaluate SKU feasibility, design constraints, and engineering trade‑offs in collaboration with hardware and platform teamsCross‑Functional CollaborationInterface with engineering development teams to gather system requirements and provide feedback on hardware design feasibilityPartner with data center infrastructure engineering teams to align hardware designs with platform requirementsCollaborate with Supply Chain, Capacity Planning, and Operations to ensure smooth transitions and handoffs of server designsCommunicate effectively across multiple engineering groups to define priorities, schedules, and resource needsProgram Execution & LeadershipLead cross‑organizational discussions to drive alignment and decision‑makingCreate and maintain dashboards and reports to track project status, risks, and milestonesBalance multiple workstreams and competing priorities independently in a fast‑paced environmentAct as a subject matter expert (SME), providing design guidance to broader virtual and global teamsProcess & Operational ExcellenceLead internal and external process improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentationMonitor internal requests and establish scalable processes to improve efficiency and internal customer supportIntroduce new perspectives and best practices to solve complex technical and operational challengesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field10+ years of experience in system engineering, hardware platforms, or data center infrastructureStrong Expertise InEnterprise servers and hardware platformsNetworking fundamentals and data center designRack‑level and row‑level hardware deploymentsProven experience working with system integrators, manufacturers, and suppliersStrong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with hyperscale cloud or large data center environmentsFamiliarity with supply chain and capacity planning workflowsExperience leading cross‑functional or cross‑organizational programsBackground working in Bare Metal, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering environmentsKey CompetenciesSystem architecture & large‑scale design thinkingTechnical leadership & decision makingCross‑team collaboration and influenceProgram management & executionProcess optimization & operational excellenceWhy Join This RoleOpportunity to influence next‑generation cloud and data center platformsWork at scale on global infrastructure systemsHigh‑impact role with visibility across engineering, supply chain, and infrastructure teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
