Principal Disaster Recovery Operations Lead – BCDR (GCP, Commvault&Network Security)

<div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the BCDR program, including Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and runbooks.</li><li>Conduct Risk Assessments and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and define recovery metrics (RTO, RPO, MTPD, MBCO).</li><li>Design and operate Disaster Recovery architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including compute, storage, databases, networking, and cross-region replication.</li><li>Implement and maintain automated failover and failback mechanisms.</li><li>Manage and operate Commvault backup and replication platform, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and recovery validation.</li><li>Monitor and maintain daily DR operations, including system health, backup success, infrastructure patching, and upgrades.</li><li>Oversee hybrid network architecture, including VPCs, VPNs, BGP routing, load balancing, and firewall/security policies.</li><li>Optimize network traffic and backup throughput to ensure minimal impact on production systems.</li><li>Lead Disaster Recovery testing and simulations, including failover/failback exercises and full recovery validation.</li><li>Act as the technical lead during disaster incidents, coordinating recovery of infrastructure, applications, and data systems.</li><li>Ensure proper application recovery orchestration, including dependency mapping and boot sequencing.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and recovery procedures.</li><li>Optimize cost efficiency across storage, backup, and cloud resources.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>8+Yrs of experience in Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure Operations, or Cloud Operations.</li><li>5+Yrs managing enterprise DR environments.</li><li>Strong experience managing backup solutions (Commvault preferred).</li><li>IAM and security policies</li><li>Replication technologies (e.g., Dash Copy)</li><li>Backup monitoring, optimization, and recovery validation</li><li>VPN, BGP routing</li><li>Load balancing and firewall management</li><li>Network performance and traffic optimization</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
