Preparedness & Response Expert (Emiratized Role)

Providing expertise in developing a framework for local preparedness and response plans, including identifying and defining risks, defining the department's responsibilities and authorities (including preparedness, warning, response, and recovery), in coordination with the relevant organizational units.Activating local preparedness and response plans relevant to the department, as directed by the concerned authorities, during local emergencies and according to the specified activation phases, while ensuring the collection of information, the periodic submission of reports, and continuous improvement of plans after events.Providing expertise in developing local risk preparedness and response strategies, including setting local risk scenarios and mitigating risks that threaten the response.Providing expertise in planning local preparedness and response and assessing impacts on specific operational processes, while identifying resources and capabilities that support the plans required for an effective response and ensuring their availability and updating in collaboration with relevant organizational units.Providing expertise in developing crisis recovery activities in accordance with government guidelines and standards, while ensuring that implementation responsibilities are clearly defined for the recovery of operations and local communities.Providing expertise in developing internal and external communication processes to inform stakeholders about response procedures, including emergency notification and information dissemination in collaboration with relevant sectors.Providing expertise in developing processes for receiving circulars and emergency reports at the local level from all relevant parties, while ensuring their referral to the relevant organizational units and the implementation of the required procedures.Providing expertise in developing policies related to managing local risk preparedness and response plans according to local and international standards.Implementing tests of local risk preparedness and response plans and disaster response, and improving plans based on test results and emerging threats.Preparing, implementing, and updating the annual operational plan for the tasks of the local risk plan efficiency measurement system, including implementation timelines and responsibilities, and submitting periodic reports to senior management on the outputs.Having not less than 6 years of experience in the same field.#J-18808-Ljbffr
