Job Description — Pre-Sales Engineer (Opportunity Development)Company: Mashaarea Projects & Solutions Company Ltd. (Mashaarea KSA)Office Location: Al Malaz, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaPosition Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleMashaarea KSA is seeking a proactive and field-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer — Construction Technology to identify and develop business opportunities across construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.The role focuses on site engagement, technical demonstrations, requirement gathering, and opportunity qualification.The position is not responsible for pricing, negotiations, or deal closure. All commercial decisions and contract finalization will be handled by company management.Key ResponsibilitiesOpportunity Identification & Site EngagementConduct regular site visits across KSA to identify potential projectsMeet contractors, consultants, developers, and project stakeholdersBuild strong relationships with decision-makers and influencersTrack upcoming tenders and project opportunitiesTechnical Presentations & DemonstrationsPresent company capabilities, services, and technology solutionsConduct on-site demonstrations where requiredExplain technical workflows, deliverables, and implementation approachPromote solutions related to construction technology, including:Land-based surveying solutionsDrone-based survey and inspection servicesDigital construction monitoringSite documentation and mappingEngineering support technologiesRequirement Gathering & QualificationUnderstand project scope, timelines, and technical needsCollect project data required for proposal preparationAssess feasibility and alignment with company capabilitiesPrepare opportunity reports and submit to managementProposal Support (Non-Commercial)Support preparation of technical proposals and documentationProvide technical inputs for BoQs and solution designCoordinate with internal engineering teamsAssist in responding to RFP/RFQ technical sectionsRelationship ManagementMaintain ongoing contact with potential clientsStrengthen long‑term partnerships for future businessRepresent the company professionally at meetings and site visitsInternal CoordinationReport qualified opportunities to managementEnsure smooth handover of technical information for pricing and closureProvide field feedback to improve services and market positioningScope Limitation (Important)The Pre‑Sales Engineer will NOT be responsible for:Pricing decisionsCommercial negotiationsContract discussionsFinancial commitmentsDeal closureAll commercial activities will be handled by company leadership.SkillsRequired QualificationsDegree in Engineering or related technical field, BBA or MBA(Civil, Construction, Geomatics, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar)Experience RequiredMinimum 2–3 years’ experience in one or more of the following:Construction or infrastructure projectsEngineering servicesSurveying or mappingTechnical pre‑sales or business developmentField engineering rolesExperience working on construction sites is highly preferredNationality PreferenceCandidates from Arabic‑speaking countries, including:Saudi ArabiaUAEEgyptKuwaitOther Arab countriesLanguage Requirements (Mandatory)Arabic — FluentEnglish — Professional proficiencyKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of construction project workflowsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to explain technical solutions clearly to non‑technical stakeholdersStrong networking and relationship‑building abilitySelf‑motivated and results‑orientedComfortable working in field/site environmentsAbility to travel extensively within Saudi ArabiaAdditional RequirementsWillingness to travel across KSAValid driving license preferredAbility to work outdoors in construction site conditionsPreferred (Advantageous)Experience with any of the following:Surveying technologiesDrone or aerial mapping servicesDigital construction solutionsBIM or monitoring toolsInfrastructure or mega‑project environmentsWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on major construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi ArabiaDynamic and technology‑driven work environmentCompetitive salary based on experienceCareer growth within a rapidly expanding company#J-18808-Ljbffr
