Celebrating Long Service provides an opportunity for the business to demonstrate their appreciation of the hard work, dedication and many years’ service of our employees at 5 year service milestonesCommitment to continued professional development: Development plans that are tailored to your individual needs and interestsGlobal connections: Join experts around the world who are at the leading edge of our industry, shaping the standards of our professionEnergy Transition Academy: Join a community of experts sharing your knowledge and gaining more exposure to a variety of existing and emerging energy systems – delivered by experts in their fieldThe key objectives for this role are:To supervise and control the Permit to Work (PTW) system ensuring all work activities on site are authorized, risk-assessed, and executed safely in compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, project procedures, and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesSupervise the issuance, monitoring, and closure of work permits for all construction and maintenance activitiesEnsure permits are issued in accordance with ADNOC PTW procedures and project HSE requirementsVerify that all required risk assessments, method statements, and safety documents are attached before permit approvalMaintain strict control over simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) activitiesCoordinate with construction, operations, HSE, and contractor teams before permit issuanceConduct site verification to confirm work conditions match permit requirementsEnsure conflicting permits or hazardous activities are identified and controlledEnsure all activities comply with ADNOC HSE standards, PTW procedures, and safety regulationsVerify isolation certificates, gas testing results, and safety precautions before issuing permitsStop work if unsafe conditions are identifiedSupervise the permit office operations and ensure proper documentation controlMaintain permit registers, logs, and records for auditing purposesMonitor permit validity and ensure timely suspension, extension, or cancellationConduct regular worksite inspections to ensure work is performed as per permit conditionsMonitor high-risk activities such as: Hot work, Confined space entry, Excavatio, Lifting operations, Electrical isolationProvide PTW system training and guidance to contractors and project personnelSupport the implementation of ADNOC HSE policies and safe work practicesPrepare daily permit reports and activity logsReport permit violations, safety issues, and incidents to the HSE ManagerQualificationsWhat makes you remarkableAt Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
