OverviewPacking CarpenterResponsibilitiesConstruct and secure materials to make framework and wood containers.Build or fix cabinets, doors, structures, floors, and other wooden components used in buildings, using woodworking equipment, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools.Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures at ground level or above.Shape or cut materials to defined measurements using hand tools, devices, or power saws.Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.Remove damaged or defective components or sections of frameworks and repair or replace them using hand tools.Inspect ceiling or flooring tiles, wall treatments, siding, glass, or woodwork to identify damaged or broken structures.Move needed materials around the job site as assigned.Clean up worksite debris.QualificationsSecondary school diploma is an asset.4 years of experience in industrial or domestic woodworking.Ability to understand schematic layouts, plans, sketches, work plans, and other requirements.Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to adhere to a company-specific safety program.Job DetailsJob Types: PermanentLocation/Relocation: Sharjah — Dependably commute or relocate before beginning work (Preferred).#J-18808-Ljbffr
