In this vital role, you will focus on diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries for athletes and active individuals. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about enhancing athletic performance and ensuring optimal recovery for our patients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed patient evaluations to assess sports-related injuries through physical examinations and medical history reviews.Develop comprehensive treatment plans that may include both surgical and non-surgical intervention strategies tailored to individual patient needs.Perform orthopaedic procedures relevant to sports medicine, such as arthroscopic surgeries and joint reconstruction, as necessary.Implement rehabilitation protocols and collaborate with physiotherapists and trainers to facilitate recovery and return to sports.Educate patients on injury prevention techniques, recovery strategies, and proper conditioning practices.Engage in patient outreach and community programs that promote health and fitness among athletes and the general populace.Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and innovations in sports medicine for continual improvement of care standards.Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.QualificationsMedical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.Completion of a residency in Orthopedic Surgery and a fellowship in Sports Medicine.Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.A minimum of 5 years of experience in sports medicine and orthopaedic practice.Proven expertise in sports-related surgical and non-surgical treatment methods.Strong understanding of human anatomy, musculoskeletal injuries, and rehabilitation techniques.Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education.A collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.Current medical license to practice in Bahrain.Commitment to lifelong learning and staying current with advancements in the field.BenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePaid Time OffTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus#J-18808-Ljbffr
