We are open to considering a foreigner for this position.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalentKnowledge of optometric equipment and processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMinimum of two years work experience in Optometry (preferred, not required)Familiarity with the local area is an advantageResponsibilitiesConducting eye exams, tests, measurements and other diagnostic procedures to assess vision health.Diagnosing vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia and other conditions.Prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses and other corrective measures as needed.Educating patients on the importance of eye care and maintaining good vision health.Keeping up with the latest developments in optometry through continuing education courses and staying up-to-date with new technologies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
