OverviewOenologist (English Speaking)Location: Abu Dhabi, UAENationality Preference: Indian or PakistaniWe are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Oenologist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of wine production and tasting. This is a part-time role, but the candidate must be available for urgent projects when needed.ResponsibilitiesConduct research on different grape varieties, soil types, and climate conditions to determine the best methods for producing high-quality wines.Monitor wine fermentation process and make adjustments as needed.Perform regular laboratory tests to ensure wine quality and consistency.Collaborate with winemakers to develop new blends and improve existing ones.Conduct sensory evaluations of wines to determine their characteristics and quality.Keep detailed records of all production processes and results.Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and advancements in technology.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Oenology or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Oenologist.Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Knowledge of different grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and industry regulations.This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Oenologist looking to expand their skills in a dynamic environment.
