Oenologist - Wine Tasting Expert (Jabal-Ali, UAE)We are seeking a skilled Oenologist to join our team in Jabal-Ali, UAE. As an Oenologist, you will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of wine samples, as well as providing guidance on wine production processes.Key Responsibilities:- Conducting sensory analysis of wine samples to determine quality and characteristics- Monitoring and analyzing fermentation processes- Advising on grape selection and blending techniques- Conducting research and staying updated on industry trends and developments- Collaborating with winemakers to ensure quality standards are met- Assisting with vineyard management decisions- Maintaining accurate records of all analyses and resultsRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Oenology or related field- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oenologist in a winery or vineyard setting- Knowledge of grapes, wine production processes, and sensory evaluation techniques- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)- Must have a valid visa for working in the UAE (sponsorship can be provided for the right candidate)This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
