OverviewNow Hiring: Sales and Application Engineer – DubaiBridge technical application engineering and sales to deliver efficient, code‑compliant HVAC solutions across the UAE. We’re hiring an HVAC Sales and Application Engineer in Dubai to lead pre‑sales discovery, equipment selection, proposals/submittals, customer demos, and smooth handovers to projects and service.Quick FactsRole: HVAC Sales and Application EngineerLocation: Dubai, UAE (UAE coverage; occasional GCC travel)Reports to: Sales Manager / Managing DirectorAt Klima Global General Trading LLC, as a Sales and Application Engineer, you’ll turn building needs into reliable, energy‑efficient HVAC solutions. You’ll qualify opportunities, size and select equipment (AHU/FAHU/HRV/VRF/DX), prepare accurate BOQs and compliant proposals, deliver demos and lunch‑and‑learns, and coordinate with engineering, projects, and service to deliver on time. You’ll be the technical‑commercial point of contact for consultants, contractors, and end users—ensuring designs align with ASHRAE/Eurovent and local authority requirements (DEWA/ADDC/municipal).Why Join Klima Global?Impactful solutions: Help clients achieve comfort, IAQ, and energy targets on landmark UAE projects.Learn & grow: OEM product trainings (AHU selection, VRF platforms, DCKV), proposal coaching, and mentorship.Career path: Clear progression to Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Manager based on performance.Trusted brand: We support leading consultants, contractors, and facilities across the GCC.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with consultants/contractors/facility teams; qualify leads and map stakeholders.Conduct site surveys; review tender drawings/specs, MEP schedules, and psychrometrics; capture duty points and T3/GCC design conditions.Application EngineeringSize & select AHUs/FAHUs/HRVs (CFM/ESP/coil), VRF/DX (load diversity, piping rules), and accessories (filters, EC fans, VFDs, ERV/HRV, UV/WM/ecology).Prepare selection printouts, data sheets, and compliance matrices; propose value‑engineering options aligned with ASHRAE/Eurovent and local authority standards.Provide drawings/mark‑ups (AutoCAD basics) and submittal packages; coordinate with design for GA/SLD updates.Prepare technical & commercial offers: BOQs, clarifications/deviations, delivery schedules, warranty and exclusions.Work with suppliers & internal teams on pricing, lead times, and alternates.Deliver presentations, run selection demos, and conduct lunch‑and‑learns. Create case studies and ROI narratives (e.g., DCKV energy savings).Prepare order packs (approved selections, drawings, scope) for projects/procurement.Support factory/client inspections (FAT/SAT), commissioning checklists, and operator handover; provide technical answers during execution.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain CRM pipeline and activity logs; produce submittals, PQ documents, and authority compliance files.ReportingWeekly pipeline & forecast reviews; competitor intelligence; monthly order booking vs target.Must‑Have QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC) or equivalent.Experience: 3–5 years in HVAC as a sales and application engineer (UAE/GCC preferred).Proficiency with psychrometrics, AHU coil/ESP selection, VRF sizing, fan curves; basic load calculations.Ability to read MEP drawings/specs and produce accurate BOQs & submittals.Strong presentation, documentation, and negotiation skills.Tools: MS Office, AutoCAD (basics), CRM; exposure to HAP/TRACE (nice to have).UAE driving license is required.Capable of preparing compliances to project submissions.Preparing technical submissions for consultant / client approval.Able to manage technical approval meetings of product with contractor / consultant / client.Preferred (Nice to Have)Experience with Hygienic AHUs, heat recovery, cleanroom specs.Knowledge ofDCKV & Kitchen Hood systems; air curtains and kitchen ecology.Awareness of LEED/Estidama impacts on HVAC selections.Product & Tech Stack (You’ll Work With)Air Handling: CLIMACS AHU/FAHU, HRV/ERU.IAQ & Filtration: ISO 16890 filters, UV, HEPA.Schedule: 6 day week; flexible for client meetings/demos.Compensation: Competitive salary + incentives (based on experience).Benefits: Visa, medical insurance, paid leave, travel allowance, performance bonus.Tools: Laptop, business phone/allowance, CRM access.OEM trainings (AHU selection/VRF platforms/DCKV), proposal coaching, and mentorship with senior leadership.
