NOC Network & Security Engineer

About the RoleJoin our dynamic Network Operations Center (NOC) team in Abu Dhabi as a Network & Security Engineer. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and securing critical network infrastructure in a 24×7 environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in Cisco routing, Palo Alto firewalls, and VPN configuration to ensure optimal performance and resilience of our network services.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls in a NOC environmentConfigure, manage, and optimize Cisco routing protocols and device configurationsImplement and maintain Palo Alto firewall policies, NAT rules, and security profilesDesign, deploy, and troubleshoot VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL) for site-to-site and remote accessRespond to and resolve network and security incidents, escalating as neededPerform root cause analysis and implement preventive measuresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support network projects and changesDocument network configurations, procedures, and topology diagramsParticipate in change management and maintenance windows to minimize service disruptionsSkillsRequired Qualifications5–10 years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering or NOC operationsExpertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IOS, IOS-XE)Proficiency in Palo Alto firewall configuration and policy managementSolid experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)Strong troubleshooting and fault-isolation skills in complex network environmentsExperience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsCCNP, CCIE, or equivalent Cisco certificationPalo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)Experience with cloud networking and security in AWS or AzureScripting or automation skills (Python, Bash)ITIL Foundation or other IT service management certificationFamiliarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)#J-18808-Ljbffr
