The operator is responsible for the safety of the entire "lift zone," ensuring that every maneuver stays within the crane’s structural and stability limits.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Operational Inspection: Conduct daily checks of hydraulics, wire ropes, hooks, and limiting devices. Report any mechanical issues immediately to avoid "down‑time."Load Calculation: Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities (Load Charts) to prevent tipping or structural failure.Precision Maneuvering: Operate levers and pedals to rotate the crane and raise/lower the boom and load, often in tight spaces or near power lines.Signal Coordination: Work in perfect sync with the Rigger/Slinger using radio communication or standardized hand signals.Set‑up & Rigging: Oversee the assembly of the crane, including extending outriggers and placing pads to ensure a level and stable base on various soil types.Safety Leadership: Stop any lift immediately if weather conditions (wind speeds) or site hazards exceed safety parameters.#J-18808-Ljbffr
