Job Description - Merchant Acquiring Testing (CREQ248892)Job DescriptionDescriptionWe are seeking a Merchant Testing Analyst with strong experience in card payments, merchant transaction flows, and payment systems testing. The role involves validating Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card transactions across multiple channelsThe candidate will work closely with payment gateways, switch providers, and banking systems to ensure seamless transaction processing and system reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Testing: Test Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card transactions across multiple payment channels.Validate transaction processing on ATM Cash withdrawal, balance inquiry, mini statement.POS Purchase, refund, reversal, pre-authorization.E-commerce Payment authorization, 3D Secure authentication, OTP validation.Payment Systems Validation: Work with Card Management Systems (CMS) for card lifecycle testing.Validate authorization, clearing and settlement processes.Test merchant onboarding and transaction routing flows.Testing ScopeFunctional TestingIntegration TestingRegression TestingSystem TestingUAT (User Acceptance Testing)Production validation and sanity testingStandards & Compliance TestingDefect ManagementLog and track defects using tools such as JIRA / HP ALM / Quality Center. Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with development teams for fixes. Validate defect fixes through regression testing.Production SupportAssist in production issue analysis and troubleshooting. Monitor transaction failures and support resolution. Validate hotfix deployments and emergency releases.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports. Maintain test data and test evidence documentation.QualificationsCard Lifecycle: Issuance, Activation, PIN generation, Authorization, Clearing & Settlement.ISO 8583 messaging structure knowledge.Visa and Mastercard transaction flows understanding.ATM and POS simulator experience.Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation.API testing tools experience (Postman, SoapUI).Payment gateways and switch systems familiarity.EMV chip transaction processing knowledge.Banking & Payments knowledge.Chargeback and dispute management process understanding.Fraud monitoring and risk rules basic knowledge.Transaction reconciliation and settlement validation experience.Scheme compliance and card network regulations knowledge.#J-18808-Ljbffr
