MEP Estimation Engineer

Every hire defines how we win.</p><h3>The Opportunity</h3><ul><li>We're looking for a highly capable, hands‑on MEP Estimation Engineer. This role is open to all nationalities (UAE / Gulf experience preferred).</li></ul><h3>What you'll do</h3><ul><li>Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and pricing for MEP works (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, firefighting).</li><li>Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BOQs using software like CostX or PlanSwift.</li><li>Monitor project budgets, track actual costs, and prepare monthly cost reports with variance analysis.</li><li>Review subcontractor quotations, invoices, and variation claims for cost validation.</li><li>Support tender preparation by developing cost breakdowns, rate analysis, and risk assessments.</li><li>Conduct value engineering and cost optimization studies while maintaining quality and compliance.</li><li>Ensure estimates comply with project specifications, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and Civil Defence standards.</li><li>Coordinate with planning, procurement, and site teams to align cost data with schedules and progress.</li><li>Maintain cost databases, historical rates, and material price libraries for future tenders.</li><li>Assist in cash flow forecasting, interim valuations, and final account preparation.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or related field.</li><li>2–3 years of MEP estimation / QS experience in UAE construction projects (residential / commercial preferred).</li><li>Proficiency in CostX, PlanSwift, Candy, or similar estimation software.</li><li>Basic knowledge of UAE construction contracts, FIDIC, and local regulations.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Good command of MS Excel for cost modeling and reporting.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
