MEP Engineering Manager

OverviewEngineering Manager (MEP) to lead the Engineering Team for the designing of MEP engineering activities for Commercial, Industrial and High Rise buildings projects.MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To plan, direct and coordinate the overall functioning of the assigned Engineering Manager (MEP) inputs/outputs and to ensure that the engineering design requirement for Commercial & High-rise buildings thats fit for purpose for implementation.ResponsibilitiesTo manage and lead the assigned EPC Engineering Teams efficiently & effectively by providing guidance and direction to subordinates in accordance with Company procedures and Clients requirements.To advise on technical issues related to Design & Construction matters, in order to meet specific project requests.To coordinate with the Project Director, client and Engineering Services Department in meeting Engineering support requirements.To ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings in accordance with project schedules.To ensure effective management & utilization of time for personnel.To maintain project technical standards/specifications in order to meet specific customer requirementsQualificationsA Bachelors degree in Mechanical EngineeringKnowledge of latest developments in related fieldConflict resolution, Business administrationProject managementSignificant experience with large EPC style Engineering ProjectsLeadershipComplex Problem SolvingCommunication SkillsMinimum of 15 Years of Work Experience in Design for MEP and leading a team of technical department or engineering departmentDisciplines covered includeSite EngineersSite AgentsProject ManagersContracts ManagersQuantity SurveyorsCommercial ManagersPlannersSafetyPurchasersEstimatorsDesign Executive#J-18808-Ljbffr
