Mechanical TechnicianWill carry out the maintenance, modification, overhauling and installation activities on the mechanical machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures, HSE guidelines and quality standards to attain effective functionality and reliability.Mechanical MaintenanceCarryoutrequireddailymechanicalmaintenanceworkandroutinepreventative mechanicalmaintenanceworkaccordingtosetschedulesandNOMACproceduresto facilitate continuous operations.Monitorthephysicalconditionofallmachinesinassignedplantandreport non-conformancestoMechanicalEngineertofacilitateeffectivemaintenanceofallNOMAC facilities as per set Quality/ HSE standards.Respondtomechanicalfailuresandimplementcorrectiveactionsinadherencewith procedures and guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.Trouble shootusing necessarytools andspare parts which includediagnosis, repairing and checkingequipmentforcorrosion,cracks,leaks,failuresandperformnecessaryroutine repairs to facilitate uninterrupted operations and minimize downtime.Diagnosecausesofmechanicalmalfunctionorfailureofoperationalequipmentsuchas defectivepartsreplacement,adjustment,alignment,oiling,greasingandboilingandtake corrective measures in collaboration with Mechanical Engineer.Readandunderstandtechnicalmanuals,mechanicaldiagramsandmachinerydrawings and apply the knowledge to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, to prepare for the mechanical maintenance to machinery in the assigned areaPractical Knowledge of relevant plant equipmentPracticalknowledgeofmechanicalmaintenanceprinciplesincludingbutnotlimitedtoidentification, classification, disposal of waste and emission monitoringAwareness of HSE & quality standardsTeam work and effective collaboration skillsMinimum QualificationsA technical certificate / Associate’s Diploma in Mechanical maintenance3-5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance a technician in installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and installations in a plant environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
