Material Controller

Job DescriptionThe candidate will be responsible for controlling the flow of materials received from clients and company suppliers, ensuring delivery to the construction team according to company policies and procedures.Key responsibilities include:Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials, then delivering them to relevant personnel on the project as per the project schedule, in coordination with the Quality Control and Procurement Departments.Maintaining a minimum stock of regular materials and ensuring a consistent supply to construction activities.Managing inventory levels to minimize storage costs, including annual stock taking and handling excess or obsolete items.Material accounting for projects and assets, along with preservation and storing practices.Updating manufacturing material part numbers periodically in the stock ledger.Skills required:Proficiency in MS Office SuiteStrong documentation skillsExperience with ERP systems is an advantage. Candidates with exposure to EPC Oil & Gas companies in the Middle East will be preferred.
