What differentiates BDO as an employer is our focus on relationships.About the RoleBDO UAE is looking for a Manager to lead their dynamic Risk Advisory team in UAE.Key Responsibility Areas:To lead their dynamic Risk Advisory team in UAE.Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.Build strong internal relationships within the BDO Risk Advisory Services Division and across other Service Divisions.Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.Contribute to people’s initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Risk Advisory professionals.Contribute to the maintenance of an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff.Understand and follow workplace policies and proceduresKey Attributed Areas:Good communication skills – both written and verbal.Highly refined planning, leadership, relationship building and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment is required.Excellent interpersonal skills – with positive & enthusiastic attitude.Key Experience Parameters:Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in a similar profile.A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.Must possess a relevant professional certification (CIA, CRMA, CPA, CA, ACCA).Strong technical knowledge of the IIA’s Global Internal Audit Standards, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000), and Internal Control FrameworksMinimum 8 – 10+ years’ experience across multiple risk advisory services such as Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Policies and Procedures development, Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), External Quality Assessment and Compliance ManagementKnowledge of local regulations (ADAA, CMA / SCA, CBUAE, DFSA, ADGM FSRA) is preferredData Analytics and hands‑on experience using technology / data analysis tools on audit and advisory projects2 – 3+ years of managerial experience in leading people and strategies.Prior consulting experience including leading audit and advisory projects across multiple business areas.Experience across multiple industries such as banking/ financial services, real estate, hospitality, education and public sector / UAE government.
