About Wynn Al Marjan IslandOn schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About the PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Manager Event Sales to join the resort’s Hotel Sales team.The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:Assess and handle events and group inquiries, negotiate room rates, minimum food and beverage expenditure, and room-to-space ratios to obtain group business and meet individual/department objectives. Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities for all possible points of sales for the Resort and develop a culture of repeat business with the clients.Monitoring group & event budgets ensuring that targets are met with the quarter and the full period of the year.Develop and grow new and existing relationships within the corporate, association, and incentive markets through proactive prospecting, sales calls, and client engagement activities, including site inspections and on-property client entertainment.Represent the resort at tradeshows and industry events while upholding five‑star standards. Execute strategic plans for the territory with hit lists and annual business plans to measure results.Continuously innovate and come up with new ideas to propose to internal and external parties. Understand fully the destination to ensure programs and offerings from local DMCs will always feature Wynn Al Marjan Island.Promote a team‑oriented work environment within respective teams by offering guidance and support to team members, including coordinators, to encourage teamwork and ensure all duties meet department and resort standards.Collaborating with the marketing team to promote events and increase sales. This includes generating reports on sales performance and recommending improvements.Attending industry events and networking opportunities to stay current on trends and build long‑lasting relationships with clients.Assume other responsibilities as requested by the Director of Event Sales and the VP of Hotel Sales.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required in Hotel Management, Marketing or Business Administration preferredA minimum of 3 years of related experience is requiredRequires a minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel salesProficiency with MS Office, Delphi and hotel operating systemsRequires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to develop and implement long‑term strategies that align with company goalsAbility to achieve established quarterly individual room night goalsStrong problem‑solving skills to address client needs while maximizing company revenueExpertise in cultivating and maintaining long‑term client relationshipsBenefitsWe offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
