Our team helps businesses navigate complex tax landscapes, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax efficiency. We proactively support clients in managing tax risks, structuring cross-border transactions, and resolving complex tax challenges.As a Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:Leading, managing, motivating, and coaching team members to support high-quality performanceDemonstrating an understanding of complex tax concepts and applying them to client mattersParticipating in bids and proposals for prospective clientsConsulting with Partners and management on technical and risk-related mattersContributing to presentations and seminars for business forumsReviewing complex business tax returns with international elements and providing recommendations for accuracy and tax-saving opportunitiesResearching and analyzing international and domestic tax issuesResponding to inquiries from tax authoritiesActing as a key point of contact and working with stakeholders to understand business developments, compliance obligations, legislative changes, and potential opportunitiesOverseeing corporation tax deliverables within broader projects, ensuring coordination with other tax teams and international member firmsManaging tax due diligence assignments for both buy-side and sell-side transactions, supporting the lead advisory teamNegotiating fees and ensuring timely billing for client engagementsDemonstrating strong understanding of the OECD BEPS Inclusive Framework, including Pillars 1 and 2Preparing supporting schedules based on detailed analysis of underlying documentationSkillsThink you've got what it takes to be a Manager? Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:5+ years of related work experience in UAE Corporate tax as well as M&A taxBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related fieldProfessionally qualified (CTA, CA, CPA, ACCA or relevant qualifications)Strong written and spoken English, Arabic speaking is advantageousDemonstrate exceptional leadership and coaching skills to develop teams and add true value within the departmentTechnically proficient, with strong technical aptitude and commercial awareness, and experience advising clients on complex tax-related issuesWillingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites#J-18808-Ljbffr
