Livestock specialist vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAELivestock SpecialistThe Livestock Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the health and well-being of livestock in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an urgent position that requires someone with experience in the field and a biometric passport.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal husbandry and a deep understanding of livestock management techniques. They must also possess excellent communication skills, as they will be working closely with other livestock specialists, farmers, and veterinarians.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor the health and well-being of all livestock, including cows, goats, sheep, and camels.Implement and maintain strict biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of diseases.Develop and implement feeding plans to ensure the appropriate nutrition for all animals.Oversee breeding programs to ensure the production of healthy offspring.Train and supervise farm workers on proper handling and care of livestock.Conduct regular health checks on animals and administer necessary treatments or vaccinations.Keep detailed records of animal health, breeding, feeding, and production.Collaborate with veterinarians on disease prevention, treatment plans, and emergency care.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations in animal husbandry techniques.RequirementsMust be an Indian national preferred but not required.Minimum of 2 years experience in animal husbandry or livestock management.Experience working with a variety of livestock species is preferred but not required.Biometric passport is required due to urgent nature of the position.Strong communication skills in English are required.The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of livestock behavior. They must also be physically fit as the job may require lifting or restraining large animals.
