Librarian vacancy in Dibba-El-Fujairah UAEPart-Time LibrarianWe are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic librarian to join our team on a part-time basis in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE. As a part-time librarian, you will be responsible for assisting patrons in locating and utilizing library resources, managing the circulation desk, and providing excellent customer service. This position is open to individuals of any nationality.Responsibilities:- Assist patrons with finding and accessing library materials- Manage the circulation desk, including checking out/in materials, collecting fines/fees, and processing new library cards- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations for library resources- Maintain organization of library materials using the Dewey Decimal System- Assist with collection development by selecting new materials to add to the library's collection- Create engaging displays and programs to promote library resources and services- Conduct basic reference interviews and refer complex questions to the appropriate librarian- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement programs and events for library patrons- Keep updated records of library statistics such as circulation numbers and program attendanceRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting- Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System- Strong customer service skills- Excellent communication skills- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Proficient in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsThis is an ideal position for someone looking for a part-time job without accommodation.
