Legal Director - Emirati national

We have been instructed on an excellent opportunity to work with a government entity in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking to hire an Emirati national legal director who will lead and manage the organisation's legal function, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Candidates will have a knowledge of UAE legal frameworks by providing strategic legal advice to senior management, overseeing legal risk management by liaising with external law firms, managing contracts such as MoU's and disputes as well as ensuring that all business operations align with legal and regulatory requirements. Applicants will have at least 10 years' experience having worked in a government entity or international law firm. Successful candidates will have a law degree and LLM would be preferable.
