Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within Aspireli.The role involves managing project scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful implementation while maintaining quality and efficiency.We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lighting Design & Development Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of automotive lighting systems from concept to production.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management SystemIdentify opportunities for new productsLead project planning, execution, and delivery in line with business and customer requirementsCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for seamless project executionMonitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure efficiencyIdentify potential risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with industry standards and Aspireli’s quality benchmarksPrepare and present project status reports to senior managementFoster cross-functional collaboration to improve project workflowsExperience with adaptive front lighting, ADB systems, or ambient lighting personalizationExposure to smart lighting, connected vehicle platforms, or software-driven light animationsPrior experience in setting up a lighting team or function from scratchProven track record in delivering engineering projects from initiation to completionExperience working with international teams and suppliersLead the end-to-end development of automotive lighting products (headlamps, tail lamps, DRLs, ambient lighting, logo projections, etc.) from concept to SOPOwn design architecture, including optical, mechanical, and electronic systems integrationDrive concept ideation, design feasibility, and PoC development for new lighting innovationsLead optical design & simulation (e.g., using LucidShape, LightTools, or SPEOS) and ensure compliance with photometric and regulatory standards (ECE, SAE, FMVSS)Guide the team in material selection, thermal management, and packaging design tailored for automotive environmentsCollaborate closely with the electronics, styling, and validation teams to ensure seamless system integrationLiaise with OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to align technical requirements and ensure program delivery milestones are metDefine and track DFMEA, DVP, and validation plans for lighting systemsDrive innovation in energy efficiency (LED, OLED, Laser-based systems), smart lighting (ADB, Matrix), and connected lighting technologiesEnsure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and support tool development, prototyping, and industrializationExceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skillsPassion for luxury design, innovation, and automotive aestheticsStrong leadership and project management abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Jira, or similar)Risk assessment and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines#J-18808-Ljbffr
