We are seeking a Lead DataOps Engineer to serve as the bridge between DevOps and Data engineering.You will lead the charge in automating our data lifecycle, ensuring that our AI and BI teams have \"gold-standard\" data that is observable, governed, and resilient.Discover the RoleEstablish DataOps standards for CI/CD, automated testing, and release pipelines across Azure and on-prem storage.Enhance modular frameworks for distributed ETL and compute in containerized (K8s) environments.Implement deep observability, telemetry, and cost monitoring to ensure strict adherence to SLAs/SLOs.Uplift the engineering team’s capability in Python, Linux primitives, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Ansible).Mentor Engineers in the team on automation, testing, and monitoring.Discover the Requirements11+ years in Engineering, and 3+ years in leadership.Deep expertise in Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and dbt.Hands-on with Airflow or ADFSolid understanding of Linux and connecting cloud environments to on-premise storage.Experience with CDC and messaging.Exposure to highly regulated data and governance frameworks.This is a high-impact role where you will have the autonomy to define the Data Operations roadmap for a major global player.
