Laundry Attendant

PURPOSE OF POSITIONTo provide guests and staff laundry services that meets Raffles Standards.KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESProcess laundry by either washing dry cleaning or pressingFollow procedures for the above processes as established by the Laundry ManagerCarefully use of laundry chemicals solvent and spotting chemicals as instructedMark all items for laundering paying attention to room numbers and sequencesPay particular attention to any items requiring prewash soakingWeigh all laundry prior to loading into machinesUse laundry equipment as instructed and maintain them in a proper state of cleanlinessAttend daily briefings with Supervisor and accomplish daily tasks as instructedReport to supervisors any stained or torn guest and staff laundry before beginning process of cleaning. Also report any items left in pockets or any jewelry on clothingEnsure all guest requests and instructions are adhered to. E.g. fold in trousers. Light starch shirt folded etc.Ensure working area is kept clean and organizedPresent guest and staff laundry as instructedAdhere to personal grooming and hygiene standardsAttend meetings and training sessions as requiredCarry out valet services as needed including delivery of linenPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESAverage reading writing and oral proficiency in EnglishMust be wellpresented and professionally groomed at all timesStrong interpersonal skills and attention to detailQualifications :QUALIFICATIONSSecondary educationEXPERIENCEMinimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry.Additional Information :Raffles Dubai Sheikh Rashid Road WafiRemote Work :NoEmployment Type :Fulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
