With convenient access to major highways, nearby amenities, and flexible land use options, investors are presented with unique opportunities for development and growth.Through the centralization of Dubai Holding’s land bank, Dubai Holding Land Estates focuses on large-scale master plans, ensuring alignment with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, whilst also supporting the business’s commitment to sustainable urban development and strategic land portfolio management.Job TitleLandscape Technical Manager to join our team in Dubai.Job PurposeThe Technical Manager is a non-design related project leader for all project types & assets and assists the Director – Landscape in taking responsibility for the overall Vertical deliverables and technical, financial and quality performance.In the capacity of a project coordinator, the Technical Manager shall manage and oversee legacy project progress in full coordination with Delivery and Community Management Teams.Key ResponsibilitiesGuidelinesEnsures compliance with company design philosophy, technical guidelines and Projects/ DCM requirements.The Technical Manager acts as the primary decision-making and interaction point with Third Party Stakeholders, consultants and contractors, and as such is required to attend official meetings.Ability to use advanced professional knowledge combined with contractual, technical and commercial abilities to guide all stakeholders to deliver pre and post contract landscape works to expectations of Master Developer, clients and as per technical and financial terms of the project briefSustainabilityDeliver on the sustainability ambition of Dubai Masterplan 2040.Good working knowledge of horticulture and environmental & life sciences, as well as materials, equipment, technologies and workmanship relevant to landscape construction projects; staying abreast of latest related developments as they relate to landscape design projects.Cost & TimeOn time completion and approval of all landscape components within a master planning development.QualityAbility to use extensive professional expertise to manage projects and to oversee and manage multiple medium to large scale projects of increasing degree of complexity, size and valueAdvanced level of understanding and working knowledge of other related design, engineering and construction disciplines with an ability to review and challenge works performed by the technical team and other disciplinesKey RequirementsMinimum ten (10+) years of continuous experience in landscape architecture; preferably with both Developer and Consultancy roles. International experience in Middle East and Asia is advantageous.University Degree – BA(Hons), Diploma or equivalent in Landscape DesignPossess professional registration, licensure or chartership with an internationally recognized professional association; desirable, not essentialGood Computer & IT skills including knowledge of CAD, Revit and BIM, Adobe Creative Suite; Sketch-Up, MS Office and latest design tools and technologies.Job Specific SkillsAbility to use advanced project management skills to direct, lead and oversee multidisciplinary consultancy teams and project-manage large-scale projectsTo be able to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders (DCM, Projects, Development, Assets, Sales/Marketing etc) leadership tiers (CDO, CEO, Chairman), alongside company developed aesthetic and technical guidelinesA strong commitment to environmentally sustainable and resilient landscape designsAbility to quickly address and resolve issues that arise during the design and construction phases.About the BenefitsAt Dubai Holding, we're committed to nurturing the success and well-being of our colleagues.
