Landscape Design Director

Our client is a leading international landscape architecture and engineering consultancy with a strong presence across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other global markets.The RoleThe Landscape Design Director will be responsible for leading the company’s landscape architecture and design initiatives across UAE and Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for shaping the creative vision, maintaining design excellence, supporting business growth and ensuring successful project delivery across multiple regions.ResponsibilitiesLead the global design function across multiple offices, defining creative and technical direction for landscape and related engineering projects.Build, develop, and manage a multidisciplinary team of design professionals, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.Oversee design quality for a variety of projects including urban landscapes, resorts, public spaces, and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and sustainability standards.Integrate landscape design with engineering, technology, and sustainable practices to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and workshops with clients, government entities, and stakeholders.Support business development through proposals, design competitions, and strategic input to expand the company’s presence in UAE, Saudi Arabia, and future regions.Establish and implement global design standards, processes, and quality assurance frameworks to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.Collaborate with regional office leaders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.Identify business opportunities, prepare technical proposals, and assist with client prequalification efforts.Define team structures, identify skill gaps, and contribute to the recruitment and development of design staff.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Landscape Architecture.15–20 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior design leadership within an international consultancy or design practice in UAE/KSA.Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex projects to international standards.Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence, innovation, and multidisciplinary integration.Ability to combine creativity with commercial and delivery requirements.Passion for sustainable, innovative, and future-ready design solutions.Professional registration (ASLA, AILA, CMLI, or equivalent).#J-18808-Ljbffr
