Land Surveyor

Perform accurate field measurements, boundary assessments, and topographic mapping for engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of surveying principles, and the ability to work effectively on-site and in collaboration with design and construction teams.Duties And ResponsibilitiesConduct land, topographic, and construction surveys using GPS, total stations, and other precision equipmentInterpret and analyze survey data to produce accurate maps, site layouts, and reportsEstablish control points, boundaries, and benchmarks in accordance with project specificationsCollaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate survey results into designsEnsure survey work complies with legal standards, project requirements, and health & safety regulationsMaintain and calibrate survey equipment regularly to ensure accuracyPrepare technical documentation, including drawings, records, and reportsMonitor ongoing construction activities to ensure alignment with design layouts and elevationsResolve discrepancies between design data and actual field conditionsSupervise junior survey staff and coordinate survey tasks on-siteQualifications, Knowledge & SkillsBachelor's Degree (BSc) in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university with over 7 years of relevant experienceMaster's Degree (MSc) in a related discipline from a recognized university with over 5 years of relevant experienceProficiency with surveying instruments and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Leica, Trimble)In-depth knowledge of land surveying techniques, mapping standards, and local regulationsStrong analytical and mathematical skillsExcellent attention to detail and spatial awarenessEffective communication and report-writing abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamFamiliarity with legal land boundaries and documentation#J-18808-Ljbffr
