<div><h3>The Opportunity</h3><p>Key Account Manager is responsible to perform all the sales activities in the assigned region through key accounts and supporting channel partners, directing and providing support to achieve maximum growth and profitability in line with organizational values, vision and objectives.</p><h3>What we are looking for</h3><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li>Degree in Chemistry/Biology or any other related discipline</li></ul><p><b>Experience:</b></p><ul><li>4–5 years of sales experience in laboratory supplies industry with a broad experience in chemicals, consumables, and smaller equipment; channel management experience preferred.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Skills/Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions within time constraints.</li></ul><p><b>Skills and Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to listen and deliver customer solutions.</li><li>Ability to drive sales and channel partners.</li><li>Understanding of customer and market dynamics.</li><li>Achievement orientation.</li></ul><h3>How you'll thrive and create an impact</h3><h3>Essential Functions</h3><ul><li>Ensure achievement of budgeted sales net contribution.</li><li>Maintain discipline in parameters such as DSO and provide full support to credit control teams.</li><li>Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and business ethics.</li></ul><h3>Department Specific/Ongoing Functions</h3><ul><li>Manage key accounts and distributors to achieve overall sales objectives.</li><li>Provide best-in-class customer experience by continuous alignment with operations teams.</li><li>Regular reporting on performance pipeline outlook, market and competitor developments.</li><li>Regular feedback and interaction with marketing team to execute effective campaigns.</li><li>Regular performance reviews with channel partners to identify growth opportunities and remove obstacles.</li></ul><h3>Internal Interactions</h3><ul><li>Marketing</li><li>Production</li><li>Distribution</li><li>Commercial</li><li>Supply Chain</li></ul><h3>External Interactions</h3><ul><li>Key Accounts</li><li>Distributors / Competitive Distributors</li><li>Suppliers</li></ul><h3>Working Conditions</h3><p>Home based.</p><p>Travel/Fieldwork: 30–40% of the time.</p><h3>Disclaimer</h3><p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
