Job Description

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining positive relationships with customers. This role involves issuing invoices, following up on outstanding payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting the broader finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes.Key Responsibilities:Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely mannerMonitor customer accounts for delayed or missed paymentsContact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding balancesApply incoming payments to customer accounts and ensure proper account reconciliationInvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputesMaintain detailed and organized records of all AR transactionsCollaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing issuesSupport audits by providing documentation and explanations as neededAssist with month-end closing and reporting activitiesEnsure compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting regulationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accountingProficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage time effectively and meet deadlinesKnowledge of GAAP and internal control principles is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
