IT Procurement Specialist

Job Title:IT Procurement SpecialistLocation:Dubai, UAEJob SummaryWe are seeking a technically proficient and strategically capable IT Procurement Specialist with a strong academic background in Procurement/Supply Chain or a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science. The role involves managing end-to-end IT procurement processes, negotiating vendor contracts, assessing technical compatibility, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement IT procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.Conduct market research to identify suppliers and emerging technologies.Manage procurement of hardware, software, cloud services, and IT consulting.Evaluate and select vendors based on technical and commercial criteria.Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and licensing agreements.Monitor vendor performance and maintain long-term relationships.Technical EvaluationCollaborate with IT teams to understand requirements.Assess solution compatibility, scalability, and integration.Participate in technical reviews and pilot testing.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.Mitigate risks related to data security, licensing, and vendor reliability.Maintain procurement documentation and audit trails.Budgeting & Cost OptimizationSupport IT budget planning and forecasting.Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in IT procurement or a technical function.Strong understanding of IT systems, cloud platforms, licensing, and cybersecurity.Experience with procurement tools such as Oracle Fusion, SAP Ariba, or Coupa.Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred: CPSM certification.Why Work With Us:Pure Health & PureCS offer a mission-driven environment where your work contributes to national-level healthcare enhancements.
