IT Procurement Specialist (part time)

About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced IT procurement specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process for our IT solutions and technology products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sourcing and negotiating with vendors and distributors within the UAE market.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure IT hardware, software licenses and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Fortinet, VMware, HPE, Kaspersky and networking equipment).Maintain and build relationships with vendors, suppliers and distributors in the UAE.Evaluate and negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.Coordinate with the sales and pre-sales teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and client requirements.Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries and manage documentation in line with company policies.Stay updated with local market trends, product availability and vendor performance.Support the finance team in reconciling vendor invoices and handling any delivery or pricing discrepancies.Ensure compliance with import VAT and local procurement regulations in the UAE.QualificationsRequirementsMinimum 24 years of experience in IT procurement preferably within the UAE market.Strong understanding of technology product licensing models and vendors.Experience dealing with UAE-based IT distributors and suppliers.Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems or platforms like Odoo (preferred).Excellent negotiation, communication and time management skills. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain or a related field.Prior experience in working with IT resellers, system integrators or MSPs in the UAE.Remote WorkYesEmployment TypeContract#J-18808-Ljbffr
