IT Procurement Specialist (part time)

<div><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced IT procurement specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process for our IT solutions and technology products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sourcing and negotiating with vendors and distributors within the UAE market.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Source and procure IT hardware, software licenses and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Fortinet, VMware, HPE, Kaspersky and networking equipment).</li><li>Maintain and build relationships with vendors, suppliers and distributors in the UAE.</li><li>Evaluate and negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.</li><li>Coordinate with the sales and pre-sales teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and client requirements.</li><li>Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries and manage documentation in line with company policies.</li><li>Stay updated with local market trends, product availability and vendor performance.</li><li>Support the finance team in reconciling vendor invoices and handling any delivery or pricing discrepancies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with import VAT and local procurement regulations in the UAE.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 24 years of experience in IT procurement preferably within the UAE market.</li><li>Strong understanding of technology product licensing models and vendors.</li><li>Experience dealing with UAE-based IT distributors and suppliers.</li><li>Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems or platforms like Odoo (preferred).</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication and time management skills. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain or a related field.</li><li>Prior experience in working with IT resellers, system integrators or MSPs in the UAE.</li></ul><h3>Remote Work</h3><p>Yes</p><h3>Employment Type</h3><p>Contract</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
