IT Infrastructure Engineer

<div><h3><b>General Description of Role and Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul><li>Develop and maintain software applications and systems.</li><li>Assess, design and evaluate implementation of IT infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Assess and recommend upgrades or improvements in existing infrastructure.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.</li><li>Research and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior infrastructure engineers.</li><li>Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.</li></ul><h3><b>Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:</b></h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.</li><li>Proven experience as a Network and Security Engineer or similar role, preferably in a large-scale environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of network protocols, equipment, and security technologies.</li><li>Hands‑on experience with network and security devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).</li><li>Proficient in network security concepts, including authentication, encryption, access control, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve network and security issues.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.</li><li>Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new concepts quickly.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
